Summary: Mel Gibson stars in this 'big, rousing, old-fashioned romance' (Variety) about a grieving 1939 test pilot whose true love is in a coma after an accident. Volunteering for pal George Wendt's cryogenics experiment, he's flash-frozen--and doesn't wake up until two kids defrost him in 1992! As he tries to adjust to this strange new world, he learns that his love is still alive...but is it too late for them to be reunited?
