Summary: The daughter of a United States president seeks normalcy within the confines of a prestigious California university. Katie Holmes stars as Samantha Mackenzie, a young lady whose commander-in-chief dad is currently seeking re-election. Having lived a life of privilege alongside her Secret Service agents, Samantha longs to experience college as any normal student would--complete with roommates, dormitories and dating. But while living a life away from Washington offers Samantha some freedom, it doesn't eliminate the scrutiny from the omnipresent press as she makes headlines with a new love whose own identity is called into question.
