Fight Club

Duration :

140

Summary: "Rarely has a film been so keyed into its time" (Variety). Brad Pitt and Edward Norton star in this daring, controversial tale that provides a shocking, futuristic look at a violent revolt against capitalism and corporate culture. The story begins with a nameless narrator (Norton) describing how he cured his insomnia by attending support-group meetings. Things really start clicking for him when he meets Tyler Durden (Pitt), a charismatic soap salesman who sidelines as an amateur saboteur. After a night of drinking, the two start Fight Club--a secret underground group whose members engage in fistfights to alleviate their pain. When the club grows frighteningly out of control and stretches into far more destructive activities, Norton takes a stand against the maniacal Durden...and learns some shocking truths about himself. "Deeply unsettling" (The Hollywood Reporter). Also with Helena Bonham Carter, Meat Loaf Aday and Jared Leto. Directed by David Fincher; screenplay by Jim Uhls, based on the novel by Chuck Palahniuk.
