Summary: The personal and political repercussions of the 1994 Rwandan genocide are examined through the lives of three remarkable Rwandans: Jean-Pierre Sagahutu, a Kigali man who has been on a 15-year search for clues in his father's murder; President Paul Kagame, who has worked tirelessly to rebuild the country and help its people move on; and Rose Kabuye, President Kagame's closest aide who was arrested in France on charges of terrorism--an act which many believe was an attempt by France to obfuscate its hidden involvement in the genocide. As Kagame fights to free his aide from France and expose the truth about what really happened in Rwanda, Jean-Pierre journeys to uncover the chilling facts in his father's death. (TVPG) ()
