Summary: The interracial marriage of a '40s American labor activist and a beautiful Japanese-American is torn apart by the outbreak of World War II. Dennis Quaid stars as the devoted husband who goes AWOL to visit his wife and child in the remote internment camp where they have been sent as possible "security risks."
