Summary: From "Roll Over Beethoven" to "Johnny B. Goode," generations of musicians look to eminent rock 'n' roll icon Chuck Berry as a notable influence in their work. As Chuck Berry marked his 60th birthday in 1986, director Taylor Hackford (director of the 2004 Oscar(R)-winning film Ray) captured the 1950s legend in this documentary. Performing at the Fox Theater in St. Louis, friends and musicians including Keith Richards, Bo Diddley, Little Richard, Eric Clapton, Linda Ronstadt, Robert Cray, Johnnie Johnson and Bruce Springsteen were present to honor Berry through music and interviews.
