Summary: From the award-winning British animation team behind the fantastic "Wallace & Gromit" shorts comes this "delightfully clever" (Variety) feature send-up of The Great Escape. The hens at Tweedy's Egg Farm face a dire daily predicament: lay their quota of eggs...or be turned into dinner! While the hens live in fear of this fate, only Ginger attempts to rig their escape, but always unsuccessfully. When a cocky "flying" rooster named Rocky suddenly appears, Ginger is filled with hope--and just in time, since the evil Mrs. Tweedy has just installed a state-of-the-art machine that makes chicken pies!
