Summary: A travel adventure turns into a nightmare for two Ohio high-school graduates in this tense drama. In Thailand, daring Alice (Claire Danes) and serious Darlene (Kate Beckinsale) hook up with a young Aussie who leaves them a surprise--a stash of heroin in their luggage that gets both girls sentenced to 33 years in a harsh, filthy prison known as Brokedown Palace.
