Summary: A talented British teen scores a spot on a local women's soccer team but is forced to hide it from her traditional Indian family. For 18-year-old Jess (Parminder Nagra), her family's ideals of marriage and good cooking take a backseat to idolizing the ball-handling techniques of English soccer star David Beckham. Then she meets Jules (Keira Knightley), a blonde tomboy with a passion for English football, who convinces her to tryout for a women's club. The duo's sharp skills make them excellent teammates...and best friends.
