Summary: A sweet St. Bernard puppy grows into a four-legged behemoth with enough fur and slobber to drive a father crazy in this funny family comedy. The shaggy-haired stray narrowly escaped dognappers to find a home with the five-member Newton family. Named Beethoven, the pup lives up to his legendary namesake, creating harmony at home and school for the mom and kids--while striking a thunderous chord with dad. But with dognappers still after Beethoven for scary animal testing, can the savvy St. Bernard stop them for good? Starring Charles Grodin, Bonnie Hunt, Dean Jones, Oliver Platt and Stanley Tucci.
