Summary: A closing Detroit police precinct becomes the setting for a deadly siege during a blinding New Year's Eve blizzard in this electrifying remake of John Carpenter's 1976 cult favorite. Precinct 13's last night in operation is supposed to be a party that includes troubled Sgt. Jake Roenick (Ethan Hawke) and his team of co-workers. But the fireworks come in the form of gunfire after Jake takes in a snow-detoured prison bus whose passengers include Marion Bishop (Laurence Fishburne)--a notorious crime boss whose presence turns the building into a shooting gallery for a vigilante squad filled with heavily armed sharpshooters. It's up to Jake and his officers to team up with the convicts if they want to survive! Co-starring John Leguizamo, Maria Bello, Ja Rule, Drea de Matteo with Brian Dennehy and Gabriel Byrne.
