Summary: Will Ferrell skewers the TV news teams of the '70s as a ultra-macho anchorman who must deal with some female competition in this riotous comedy spoof. Ron Burgundy has it all--he's the top-rated anchorman in San Diego, he has a spectacular array of suits and he reads a teleprompter like nobody else in the business. But Ron's wonderful world of macho chauvinism is about to crumble with the arrival of Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), a sexy reporter whose unexpected crack at the anchor spot results in shocking success.
