Summary: A deceased firefighting pilot returns from heaven to look after the airman who replaced him in Steven Spielberg's remake of 1943's A Guy Named Joe. Richard Dreyfuss stars as Pete Sandich, a brave pilot who faces precarious situations while putting out forest fires in the Pacific Northwest, to the angst of his best girl. On a risky mission to save a fellow aviator, Pete falls from the sky. But Heaven gives him a new mission--to return to Earth as a spirit giving faith to a novice firefighting pilot.
