Summary: The King is alive and well...and he's turned to a life of crime in this "pedal-to-the-heavy-metal redneck heist" (Variety). The place: Las Vegas. The scene: the International Elvis Convention. When five strong-armed--and strong-willed--Elvis impersonators get together to concoct an ambitious plot to rob a casino, the result is first-rate pandemonium and bloody good action. Michael (Russell) is a convict who has just gotten out of the pen. He shacks up with a grungy single mom (Cox) before hooking up with his nasty old cellmate Murphy (Costner) and his gang. After carefully donning their Elvis regalia, the quintet make their move...and lay bloody waste to the target casino's security force while walking away with millions of dollars.
