I just read a survey that said 70-some-percent of Americans believe that the country is in recession. And perception is reality. But, if you go one step beyond that, what you notice is, that's all they talk about. That is the sum total of our discussion about foreign policy. Look, no one believes that Iraq is going to turn out the way that we thought it was in 2003. What I think we can say is, Harry Reid, the Democratic Majority Leader in the Senate, was certainly wrong when he said last May, "The war is lost. Just give up."
