Mike Larsen has found success in three competitive fields - comedy, television and politics. After graduating from San Francisco State University, he moved to Washington to work on Capitol Hill, but couldnt land a job. So he signed up for an open mike at a local comedy club and quickly rose through the ranks, making multiple appearances on the Tonight Show and performing at venues around the world.

His first television writing job was on Grace Under Fire and he followed that with staff positions on Ellen, The Drew Carey Show, Two Guys & a Girl, Reba, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Whoopi and Rodney.

In 2008, Mike returned to Washington to serve as Communications Director for Congresswoman Jackie Speier (D-San Francisco). He has also consulted and/or written speeches for many candidates and officeholders and is a contributor to the Huffington Post and other publications.

But, by far, Mikes coolest job was working as a peanut vendor for Giants and 49ers games at San Franciscos Candlestick Park.
