Flying High

Almost everyone has wondered how it would feel to soar through the air like a superhero, covering miles at the speed of a small plane. BASE jumper Jeb Corliss has lived it.

The Californian has performed jumps around the globe in his "wing suit" - a webbed jumpsuit that allows him to glide across the sky like a flying squirrel - and gained a rare perspective on the world below. "Once you step off, and you let go of that cliff and you go into free fall," he says, "It-- it's beautiful."

Corliss' jumps have taken the already risky sport of skydiving and dialed up the spectacle - as well as the danger. On the next edition of Real Sports,' he'll return to South Africa's Table Mountain to make a second attempt at the leap that nearly took his life 10 years ago. The prospect terrifies him ... which is kind of the point. "I like being scared," he tells the cameras trailing him for the jump. "I like the way it feels."
