Susanna White (director) began her career in documentaries and won a BAFTA for her directing the drama series Bleak House, based on Charles Dickens novel. She received Emmy® nominations for directing the miniseries Jane Eyre and HBOs Generation Kill. Her other credits include the feature film Nanny McPhee Returns, the HBO series Boardwalk Empire and the Emmy®-nominated documentary Tell Me the Truth About Love.
