With 'Big Love' on hiatus, fans of Chloë Sevigny who are eager for more can check out 'Untitled (terrace to mirror)' on the NY Times website 'The Moment.' Sevigny's always been hard to characterize; she's an East Village hipster by way of Darien with her own unisex clothing line, who somehow manages to tap into playing a buttoned-up polygamous wife. And in this short art film by Alia Raza, Sevigny reveals yet another side of herself by hiding beneath a burqa. (photo: Gustavo Caballero/WireImage.com)

'Big Love' fans may suspect that Roman's demise was a ruse, but show creator Will Scheffer insists the prophet has left the building. "Roman is 100% absolutely completely dead. There's no trick in terms of, he was pretending to be dead, or it was a hallucination. He is gone," he told the LA Times. "His spirit has left the earth. ... No one can bring him back from the dead." Got it? But Harry Dean Stanton has faith: "I don't know," he said. "Christ rose after three days." (photo: Eric Charbonneau/WireImage.com)

If you want to know what's going to happen in the 'Sex and the City: The Movie' sequel, don't turn to Chris Noth for answers. "During the [first] movie I made up so many lies," he said. "The media took it so seriously it always blew my mind. They'd say, 'What's Mr. Big's real name?' and I'd say. 'Joe!' and they'd go 'Joe!?!'" As for rumors that Carrie and Big will procreate, Noth says: "See, that's another lie. I've got my own baby. I don't know about Mr. Big. I think that came from someone [who] asked, 'Could he handle it?' Of course he could handle it with a lot of help, which he can afford, depending on whether he had his money with [Bernie] Madoff. Hopefully Mr. Big didn't." (photo: Dimitrios Kambouris/WireImage.com)

William Sanderson, who plays Sheriff Bud Dearborn on 'True Blood,' boasts a resume packed with whacked-out and unsavory characters from 'Deadwood' to 'Blade Runner.' Even his recent turn on 'Lost' cast him in the part of a torture master. So how does it feel to uphold law and order in a town teeming with vampires and serial killers? "For me to play a normal person," he said, "it's kind of scary." (photo: Paul Redmond/WireImage.com)

For a woman who claims to not have a lot of drive in an industry filled with people clawing for a foothold, Hope Davis seems to have stumbled onto success. The actress is starring on Broadway (for the first time in 10 years) in 'God of Carnage,' alongside James Gandolfini, Marcia Gay Harden and Jeff Daniels, in a role that requires everything from an emotional breakdown to projectile vomiting. And while rehearsing for that, she was also shooting the second season of 'In Treatment.' Still, she claims: "I'm not a workaholic," says Davis. "I've never really had the desire to climb the ladder then you don't fall off the ladder, and you can just do your own thing." (photo: Bennett Raglin/WireImage.com) |
