Westward Ho?

Moonlite BunnyRanch Bunny Brooke Taylor is headed to the big time: She's this month's cover and centerfold for Hustler magazine. Next stop Hollywood? "According to Larry Flynt, publisher of Hustler, I'm his favorite working girl," says Brooke. "The popularity of HBO's 'Cathouse' has opened many doors for me, and this is one of my most exciting opportunities." And her Hustler feature will open the doors for one lucky reader who can win a date with Taylor. (photo: Albert L. Ortega/WireImage.com)

Double Duty

It's a good thing Lee Tergesen, who plays the reporter in 'Generation Kill,' knows how to get his facts straight — because his real-life counterpart, Evan Wright, was standing on set as a consultant for the project. But there wasn't any backseat driving, Tergesen says; in fact, the journalist put him at ease: "To be able to ask him, at any moment, what was going on [in the scenes] was great. He was unbelievably helpful and generous and supportive. And then when it turned out he was going to be leaving, I started breaking out in cold sweats and panic, because I wasn't going to be able to refer to him all the time." Sticking Up for the Green Team

Chloë Sevigny was green before it was de rigeur in Hollywood circles to tote your own bag when shopping at Prada or bring your own water bottle to set. Top amongst Sevigny's list of eco "dos" are unplugging chargers, buying organic and taking public transportation. ("Even if people bug me on the train, it's much faster anyway," she says.) Sticks and stones may break her bones...but composting makes it all worth while for the actress: "Being eco-friendly makes you feel good about yourself. Who cares if people call you a hippy." Clean Start

With the economy in the crapper, at least 'Sopranos' star Vincent Pastore is throwing a bone to the unemployed: A stint on daytime staple 'General Hospital.' The former Big Pussy will soap it up as a mob boss who moves to Port Charles, only to find out his exaggerating son is a mere peon in the organization. Lucky for Pastore, if he gets whacked on this show, he can always come back as his own evil twin or through some sort of voodoo resurrection ritual. (photo: Vince Bucci/Getty Images)

Sempre Fi House

'Generation Kill' depicts the reality of a seven-month tour in Iraq, but what happens when 30 actors, picked to live in the desert with no war to fight, stop being polite and start getting real? "It's like being in a fraternity. S**t went down," says Stark Sands, who plays Lt. Nate Fick in the miniseries. Luckily, Sands and his company found a distraction to help keep the peace: "You've got a group of guys of this size and, you know, a handful of cute, young women working in the production office — it was like sort of blood in the water. We were all very flirtatious with them ... I dated one of the girls in the production office for the duration of the shoot, and I've got to say, it was nice." No Payne, No Gain

Mark Wahlberg took awhile to warm up to the idea of playing Max Payne in the movie based on the dark video game character. "When I read the script, I was like wow this is awesome! I asked where it came from and they said it's based on a video game and I said, 'No, I don't want to do that,'" he told the crowd at Comic-Con. But after further reflection he decided the elaborate story had the depth he was seeking. So far, he's looking forward to the October release: "I remember, 'The Happening' had just come out and [director] John [Moore] showed me some stuff in the editing room. I was just screaming with excitement. I was so happy that my career was saved!" (photo: Stephen Lovekin/Getty Images)

Imported Gas

While you might not expect 'John Adams' to score a big hit with British audiences, some of Paul Giamatti's earlier work has caused quite a stir across the pond — yet never landed in the good ol' U.S. of A. "'Thunderpants' is a fine motion picture that I made in England a long time ago about a kid who farts uncontrollably," Giamatti says. "This came across my desk, and I had to be a part of it ... I play a guy from NASA who kidnaps [the kid] so that he can power a rocket. Strangely enough this picture never made it across the Atlantic, but I think it was huge in England for a while. It's one of my favorite pictures; I loved making this movie ... It's every variation on a fart joke that you could possible imagine." (photo: Amy Graves/WireImage.com)

Sexy Beasts

Talking up his new show, 'True Blood,' at Comic Con, show creator Alan Ball made it clear that creatures of darkness have sex appeal. "Apparently, sex with vampires is really kind of great," said Ball. And it needn't be lethal: "when you have sex with a vampire, it can be very romantic. It doesn't have to be violent.... I mean, everybody knows that, right?" When asked whether there would be tru-life version of the faux beverage Tru-Blood, Ball gave the recipe: "It's V8, valium, vicodin, and Viagra." Getting Lucky

The 'Entourage' guys have made an art of breaking balls, but a broken arm? Not so funny. When Kevin Dillon took a spill during a basketball scene, "It was scary," says Jerry Ferrara. "Everybody literally was speechless. People were wandering around not knowing what to do." Whether a broken arm in TV carries the good fortune of a broken leg in theater is anybody's guess, but Dillon didn't let a bit of emergency surgery to install a metal plate bring him down. "You want to talk about an Iron Man? The guy was literally back at work the next day," Ferrara says. "It was an unbelievable thing to see — he was in a ton of pain and he didn't let it affect him. He had a job to do and did it." (photo: Todd Williamson/WireImage.com)

Milk and Honey

Big Love's Douglas Smith sure impressed the right people as polygamist son Ben Henrickson because he's been invited into a young actor's paradise. Along with Sean Penn, Emile Hirsch, James Franco, Josh Brolin and Diego Luna, he'll tell the story of gay-rights activist Harvey Milk, who became the first openly gay man to be elected to public office in the United States before being murdered by the city's supervisor. As if the heavy-weight cast weren't enough, Gus Van Zandt will direct. (photo: Ryan Born/WireImage.com)
