Hanks Ranks First

In a USA Today/Gallup poll, actor-producer Tom Hanks topped the list as the movie star most likely to drive people to the multiplex. Forty-four percent of those polled said they'd go out of their way to see his films, and the Oscar winner helped 'The Da Vinci Code' rake in nearly $750 million worldwide in his role as symbologist Robert Langdon on a quest for the Holy Grail.

Hanks (who is exec producer on 'Big Love' and the upcoming HBO miniseries 'John Adams') will next be seen in 'The Great Buck Howard' along with his son, Colin Hanks, and 'Charlie Wilson's War' with the poll's third most popular star, Julia Roberts. Others with top box office draw included Robert DeNiro with a surprising second place finish and Will Smith and Sandra Bullock tying for fourth. (photo: Gregg DeGuire/WireImage.com)

This Is Your Life

Fans of Sarah Jessica Parker can find all of the vital stats on the actress — from the names and occupations of her many siblings, to her hefty résumé — on E online's recently posted profile. Celebrities, unlike most of us, have to (or is it get to?) look back at things they said ten years ago about what their life would be like. For instance, Parker told the NY Times in 1996: "A woman's movie career is much shorter than a man's, and it's awfully nice to have a career in theater, where a woman can work longer. ... I want a career in theater because in a couple of years my opportunities in film will change drastically." Turns out she was right — she has many more offers for leading roles in film now than she did in her thirties. (photo: Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic.com)

A Very Kristin Christmas

Kristin Davis and Kristin Chenoweth have more in common than first names — they both played the wives of feuding neighbors in 'Deck the Halls' and they both love Christmas. The actresses talked to World Entertainment News Network about some of their favorite holiday memories.

Chenowith sited a family tradition:"My mom has a really tacky ceramic Christmas tree that is probably as tall as me and on the corners are candles. The entire family has to go around and light a candle and say what they're most thankful for. No matter how hard we try, we always cry as we're doing it (laughs)....we've been through a lot — loss, sickness, we've had it all but we're together and I love that."

"That's really sweet," Davis responded, recollecting her childhood holidays in South Carolina: "I remember the car license plates in South Carolina; every year they all have these license plates that read 'Think snow, think snow' and it just never snows, so it's kind of funny. Instead it's more traditional like you see a lot more greenery. We would put up single lights in the windows. It's much more about baking and handing out baked goods and parties and caroling. I love caroling." (photo: John Sciulli/WireImage.com)

Making Book

Larry David had the book thrown at him in 'Curb Your Enthusiasm,' and now the episode has made it into the 25th anniversary edition of 'The Big Book of Jewish Humor.' The Albany Times Union reports on the winning joke: "Larry appears in court before a judge named Katz and tries (unsuccessfully) to curry favor with the judge by saying, on what is probably a Tuesday morning, 'Hello, your honor — and may I say Shabbat shalom.'
