Paul Giamatti

Paul Giamatti (Ben Bernanke) earned an Emmy® Award, a Golden Globe Award and a SAG Award for the title role of the HBO miniseries "John Adams," and recently received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for "Barney's Version."  He also earned Academy Award® and Golden Globe nominations as well as a SAG Award and Broadcast Films Critics' Award for "Cinderella Man."  Giamatti's previous HBO credits include "Winchell," "If These Walls Could Talk 2" and the HBO Films theatrical release "American Splendor," for which he received the National Board of Review Award for Best Breakout Performance of the Year and an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Actor.  He won the New York Film Critics Circle Award, Independent Spirit Award and Chicago Film Critics Association Award for Best Actor, as well as Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations, for "Sideways."  Giamatti's upcoming credits include "Ironclad" and "The Hangover Part II."  His extensive list of films also includes "Win Win," "The Last Station," "Duplicity," "Cold Souls," which he also executive produced, "Fred Claus," "The Nanny Diaries," "Shoot Em Up," "Lady in the Water," "The Illusionist,"  "Paycheck," "Confidence," "Planet of the Apes," "Big Momma's House," "Cradle Will Rock," "The Negotiator," "Saving Private Ryan," "The Truman Show" and "Private Parts."  On the stage, Giamatti received a Drama Desk nomination for Best Supporting Actor for the "The Iceman Cometh"; his other Broadway credits include "The Three Sisters," "Racing Demon" and "Arcadia."
