Ed Weeks

Hailing from London, England, Ed Weeks is emerging as one of TV's most talented writer-performers. Weeks currently stars as Dr. Jeremy Reed, an ob-gyn in practice with Dr. Mindy Lahiri, played by Mindy Kaling, on 'The Mindy Project.' The comedy series was selected as one of the five Most Exciting New Series at the 2012 Critics' Choice Awards.

Weeks' additional acting credits include the British television series 'The It Crowd' (Channel 4), 'Royal Pains' (USA) 'Dirty Sexy Funny' (Comedy Central), 'My Family' (BBC) and 'Not Going Out' (BBC).

Weeks has also written for the BBC TV series 'Hotel Trubble,' 'Clone,' 'The Peter Serafinowicz Show,' 'Man Stroke Woman' and, most recently, for Channel 4's 'Anna & Katy.' In the U.S., he recently sold his first television pitch to CBS – a half-hour comedy entitled 'Look at Me Now' – and is developing other ideas.

As half of the sketch double-act 'Tommy and the Weeks,' Weeks has performed shows at venues across the U.K., receiving excellent reviews from critics and a cult following. Their sketches have been broadcast as part of BBC's 'Comedy Shuffle' series.

Weeks currently resides in Los Angeles.
