Synopsis

Ricky Gervais turns a quirky world of truth upside down by learning how to lie in this hilariously unique comedy. Living in a reality in which lying does not exist, Mark Bellison (Gervais) is a sad sack screenwriter who, in a moment of enlightenment, discovers that lying may be the best policy. It isn't long before Mark is abusing his newfound talent-and making himself a super-celebrity in the process as he simply makes things up that the world takes for fact. But can his lies still enable him to woo the lovely Jennifer Garner?

Co-starring Jonah Hill, Louis C.K., Jeffrey Tambor, Fionnula Flanagan, with Rob Lowe and Tina Fey. Written and directed by Ricky Gervais & Matthew Robinson.
