She began her career as a director of factual and documentary films, winning an Emmy® in 1995 for Baby Its You. As executive producer, she was Emmy®-nominated for the miniseries Colonial House (2004) and BAFTA-nominated for The 1900 House (2000) and The Young Ones (2010).
