HBO Films Receives 32 Emmy nominations; Sweeps Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie category

HBO Original Films received 32 Primetime Emmy® nominations. 'Behind the Candelabra' boasts 15 nominations including two for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie (Michael Douglas and Matt Damon); and Outstanding Costumes for a Miniseries, Movie, or a Special. 'Phil Spector' picked up 11 nominations including Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie (Helen Mirren), Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie (Al Pacino), and Outstanding Miniseries or Movie. 'The Girl' received six nominations, among them Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie (Toby Jones) and Outstanding Directing for a Miniseries, Movie, or a Dramatic Special. HBO swept the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie category, receiving all five nominations.

In total, HBO received 108 nominations, the most of any network for the 13th year in a row. The 65th annual Primetime Emmy® Awards will be held on September 22 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The full list of nominees can be found at the link below.
