Synopsis
Can an ogre have a midlife crisis? Poor Shrek finds himself longing for the good old days when he was the meanest and greenest ogre in the forest of Far Far Away. But he soon comes down with a bad case of "be careful what you wish for" when he cuts a deal with the devious Rumpelstiltskin to give himself a day without a care. The result leaves Shrek--like George Bailey in It's a Wonderful Life--in a world in which he's never been born. Now, Fiona's a warrior princess, Puss is fat and no longer in boots, Donkey is...well, he's still Donkey, and Rumpelstiltskin's ruling the whole place! Can Shrek find a way to void the Faustian contract and get his old life back?
Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas head up the voice cast once again.
