Synopsis
A small-town girl (Julianne Hough) with big-town dreams of being a singer comes to Los Angeles in 1987. There, she falls for an aspiring rocker (Diego Boneta), who helps her get a job as a waitress at the Bourbon Room, a notorious club that the mayor's uptight wife is trying to shut down. You'll have nothin' but a good time with the music of Def Leppard, Journey, Twisted Sister and more in this adaptation of the head-banging hit musical.
The all-star cast includes Russell Brand, Paul Giamatti, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Malin Akerman, Mary J. Blige with Alec Baldwin and Tom Cruise. Directed by Adam Shankman; screenplay by Justin Theroux and Chris D'Arienzo and Allan Loeb, based on the musical Rock of Ages' written by Chris D'Arienzo.
