Synopsis

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet reteam for the first time since Titanic in this critically acclaimed drama about a young couple's crumbling marriage. It's 1955 and Frank and April Wheeler (DiCaprio, Winslet) are a popular, good-looking suburbanite couple with two children. But their picture-perfect life hides a dark underbelly of unhappiness and infidelity that leads their marriage down an increasingly perilous road. Michael Shannon was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar(R) with his "breakthrough performance" (The L.A. Times) as an insightful mental patient.
