Synopsis

She was born to save her sister's life, but at what cost to her own? Cameron Diaz and Abigail Breslin star in this heart-pulling drama about the ethical dilemma surrounding a family with a leukemia-ridden daughter and her sister who may be the only link to her survival. Having spent a childhood extracting blood, bone marrow and stem cells for her sick older sister, 11-year-old Anna puts a stop at kidney surgery and enlists the help of a lawyer to battle her parents for ownership of her body.
