Scott Ferguson


Scott Ferguson (Producer) has worked as a producer with such filmmakers as Jim Jarmusch, Mick Jackson, Jay Roach, Michel Gondry, David Mamet, Steve Zaillian, James Mangold, and Lisa Cholodenko® as well as Academy Award® winners Barry Levinson, Milos Forman, Sydney Pollack, Robert Benton and Ang Lee. Ferguson received the 2010 Emmy® Award as producer of the Outstanding Movie for Television for HBO’s “Temple Grandin,” which received a total of seven Emmys®. He was also nominated as the producer of Barry Levinson’s HBO film “You Don’t Know Jack,” which received two Emmys®. Ferguson has received three Directors Guild Awards for his services as unit production manager on Ang Lee’s feature, “Brokeback Mountain,” Jay Roach’s HBO film “Recount” and “Temple Grandin.”
Since shooting MUHAMMAD ALI’S GREATEST FIGHT, Ferguson produced the U.S. unit on Jim Jarmusch’s “Only Lovers Left Alive” and John Turturro’s “Fading Gigolo.” He has re-teamed with HBO for his next film, “The Normal Heart,” which is currently in pre-production and stars Julia Roberts, Mark Ruffalo and Matt Bomer, and will be directed by Ryan Murphy.
