Synopsis

"Four stars" (Roger Ebert). From the filmmaker behind 'The Dark Knight' and 'Memento' comes this gripping, wildly original thriller starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Cobb, the head of a criminal ring that specializes in a very unique type of corporate espionage: they invade the dreams of their victims to steal ideas. When he is asked to do something that has never been done--plant an idea in the mind of a young man that will eventually dissolve his future empire--the increasingly unstable Cobb sees it as his last chance to escape his life of exile. But to achieve "inception," Cobb and his team must navigate a seemingly impossible maze in an ever-collapsing world of dreams. Variety magazine called Inception "a fiendishly intricate yarn set in the labyrinth of the subconscious."

Ken Watanabe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Tom Berenger and Michael Caine co-star. Written and directed by Christopher Nolan.
