Woody Harrelson (Steve Schmidt) received Academy Award® nominations for 'The Messenger' and 'The People vs. Larry Flynt,' both of which also brought him Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations in addition to an Independent Spirit Award win for Best Supporting Role in 'The Messenger.' His performance in 'No Country for Old Men' earned him the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. His recent performance in 'Rampart,' which premiered to critical acclaim at the 2011 Toronto Film Festival, earned him an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Male Lead. Harrelson is currently in production on 'Seven Psychopaths' and can soon be seen in Gary Ross's 'The Hunger Games,' based on the best-selling novel by Suzanne Collins.

His theater credits include directing his own play 'Furthest from the Sun,' the Roundabout's Broadway revival of 'The Rainmaker,' Sam Shepherd's 'The Late Henry Moss,' John Kolvenbach's 'On An Average Day' at London's West End, directing the Toronto premiere of Kenneth Lonergan's 'This Is Our Youth,' and starring in Tennessee Williams' 'Night of the Iguana' at the Lyric Theatre. Most recently, Harrelson directed 'Bullet for Adolf,' a play he co-wrote with Frankie Hyman and produced at Hart House Theatre in Toronto.
