Danny Strong's (writer, co-executive producer) first script, HBO Films' 'Recount,' earned him a WGA Award, an Emmy® nomination for Outstanding Writing for a Miniseries, Movie or Dramatic Special and was voted Number #1 on The Black List for 2007, an acclaimed list ranking the most-liked screenplays as voted on by the Hollywood Community. Currently, Strong is writing 'Garo,' based on the true story of 1970's Miami Dolphin kicker Garo Yeprememian, the best-seller 'A Conspiracy of Paper,' a murder mystery set in 1719 London that ties into the financial crisis of that period, and 'The Butler,' a script which earned him a vote on to the 2010 Black List, about a White House Butler set against the dramatic backdrop of the civil rights movement. In addition to his screenwriting credits, Strong is also an actor with extensive credits in film, television and theater. He has appeared most recently in 'Mad Men' and is best known for his roles on 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and 'Gilmore Girls.'
