Greg Mottola (director, executive producer) began his career as the writer and director of the independent film "The Daytrippers." He also directed the sci-fi comedy "Paul," as well as the comedy "Superbad." Mottola wrote and directed the coming-of-age comedy-drama "Adventureland," for which he received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Screenplay. For TV, Mottola most recently directed the pilot and two additional episodes of HBO's "The Newsroom," which earned him a DGA Award nomination. His other TV directorial credits include episodes of the HBO series "The Comeback," plus "Arrested Development" and "Undeclared."
