Synopsis

Maverick undercover C.I.A. agent Leonardo DiCaprio concocts an elaborate plan to flush out a terrorist from hiding in this action-thriller. Working under the radar in various Middle Eastern territories, Roger Ferris (DiCaprio) communicates--and often clashes--with his U.S.-based boss (Russell Crowe), who coldly watches over the risky operation using an impressive technological set-up. Can they overcome their rocky relationship and stop an old-world madman before more innocent people are killed? Mark Strong, Golshifteh Farahani, Oscar Isaac and Simon McBurney co-star. Produced and directed by Ridley Scott; screenplay by William Monahan, based on the novel by David Ignatius.
