Synopsis

Oscar®-nominees Keira Knightley ("Pride & Prejudice") and Jude Law ("The Talented Mr. Ripley") star in this stylized adaptation of Leo Tolstoy's classic novel. Set in 19th-century Russia, the epic love story centers on a beautiful young aristocrat (Knightley) trapped in a loveless marriage to an older statesman (Law). Defying the social order and risking her family, she embarks on a passionate affair with the dashing Count Vronsky (Aaron Taylor-Johnson). An Oscar®-winner for Best Costume Design.
