BIO: Taylor made his feature film debut in Whit Stillman's acclaimed Metropolitan and went on to star in Barcelona before reprising both of those roles for Stillman's third film of the trilogy, The Last Days of Disco. Other feature credits include The American President, Congo, Headless Body in Topless Bar, Cadillac and The Next Step, which he also produced. Nichols also starred in Mike Binder's The Sex Monster and Gideon with Charlton Heston and Shelly Winters. And recently was seen in New Line Cinema's Boiler Room and Jurassic Park III. Currently starring in HBO's new original program, THE MIND OF THE MARRIED MAN, Nichols has starred in such TV movies as Evolution's Child for USA and Norma Jean and Marilyn also for HBO. His recurring roles include "Chicago Hope", "Judging Amy" and "Murder She Wrote" and has guest starred in numerous series including "ER", "Any Day Now", "The Larry Sanders Show", "News Radio" and "Man of the People" (series regular). Nichols is an award-winning short filmmaker having directed Two Heterosexual Men Get Ready To Go Out (One has a Girlfriend), a twelve minute movie which stars Jay Thomas ("Cheers," "Murphy Brown") as 'Tom' a heterosexual male, (best short ELFF 2000) and produced and acted in Santa's Little Helper, (audience award for best short at the Method Fest 2001). In the theater Nichols' credits include Plunge at Playwrights Horizon in New York, The Lonely Planet at the Fountain Theater in LA and the National tour of Sugar Babies with Rip Taylor. Nichols is also an accomplished tap dancer having performed in 42nd Street, My One and Only and On Your Toes. He is endlessly working on a script about Harold Lloyd, the silent film comedian, and writing a children's book, Lofty and Sir Knight. Mr. Nichols is a graduate of the University of Michigan and studied acting with Terry Schreiber in NYC. He is co-founder of A.C.
