Three of the four stars of 'Seinfeld' have made guest appearances on 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' over the years. In Season 2 both Jason Alexander and Julia Louis-Dreyfus appeared as themselves when Larry was pitching a new TV show. And in Season 4's finale, Jerry Seinfeld appears, wincing in the audience of 'The Producers' when Larry forgets his lines.
This season, Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards all appear as themselves. Larry's convinced them to do a reunion show, promising it won't be lame. He also promises Cheryl the role of George's ex-wife -- and then has to ask her to audition as a "formality" when Jerry wants to consider other actresses. When Jerry insists they cast Virginia (played by Elisabeth Shue), Larry has to deliver the bad news to Cheryl -- thereby compromising his plan to win her back. But now Virginia's had to pull out due to a suspicious (in Larry's mind) neck injury, so Cheryl's in.
THE REUNION SHOW PLOT
Many years have passed. Elaine and Jerry argue over whether to tell her daughter that Jerry is her father (via sperm donation); George has had a huge success with the iPhone app iToilet, but he's lost all his money to Madoff. He schemes to remarry his ex-wife Amanda (played by Cheryl) who sold her Madoff shares before he was busted. Kramer still lives next door and Newman still visits.

Who Does Larry Love More?
With all of the hoopla over the 'Seinfeld' reunion on 'Curb' this season, one might wonder whether Susie, Jeff and Cheryl are feeling a little jealous of all the attention that Larry's other children (Jerry, Julia, Jason and Michael) are getting. But in an early screening of the season premiere of 'Curb' for HBO staffers, Susie Essman explained why the 'Curb' cast is confident in Larry's love. "I don't know, I think he must feel more familial with our cast," she said. "As a showrunner, which he was for 'Seinfeld,' you're the writer, the boss. But with us, he's in there acting with us, day in and day out." The question is, would Larry, being Larry, insist he loves them all equally?

Ruled By Impulse
You'd think that after letting go of a role more than a decade ago, it might be a little tough to get back in the mood.
