 Mary McCormack appeared in a leading role in Steven Soderbergh's 2002 film,
"Full Frontal", opposite Julia Roberts, David Duchovny and Catherine Keener. In her
latest film, she can be seen starring opposite David Spade in the comedy "Dickie
Roberts: Former Child Star."
McCormack recently completed production on "Traffic", a mini-series based on the
BBC mini-series and Academy Award-winning feature film of the same name for the
USA Network, directed by Stephen Hopkins ("24"). USA will debut the mini-series
in January 2004. She will also appear in "Madison", opposite Jim Caviezel and
Bruce Dern, which is scheduled to be released in 2004.
Her performance opposite Howard Stern in 1997's "Private Parts" won her critical
acclaim and was followed by a highly successful run starring as Sally Bowles in the
Roundabout Theater Company's Broadway revival of "Cabaret" at Studio 54,
opposite Alan Cumming and directed by Sam Mendes & Rob Marshall.
For Universal Films she starred in "K-Pax" with Jeff Bridges and Kevin Spacey. Her
other leading roles include "High Heels & Low Lifes" opposite Minnie Driver, and
"Mystery, Alaska," which was written by David E. Kelley and starred Russell Crowe.
McCormack appeared in the independent films "Other Voices", starring opposite
Stockard Channing and Campbell Scott, and in "The Broken Hearts Club," both of
which premiered at the 2000 Sundance Film Festival. She also starred in the short
film "Big Love", opposite Sam Rockwell, which premiered at the 2001 Sundance
Film Festival.
McCormack portrayed the "President of the World Hair Federation" alongside
Frances Fisher and Craig Ferguson in "The Big Tease." She also appeared with
Sandra Bullock and Liam Neeson, playing a mobster's wife in a scene-stealing role
in Disney's "Gun Shy", and in the 1999 Sundance Film festival premiere "Getting to
Know You."
Her other credits include "True Crime", directed by Clint Eastwood; "Deep Impact";
"The Alarmist", opposite Stanley Tucci and David Arquette; "Father's Day," Colin
Fitz", "Miracle on 34th Street", and "Backfire."
McCormack also received widespread praise for her series regular role as Justine
Appelton, on the Steven Bocho television series, "Murder One."
