Scott Stephen's television career began with the controversial comedy, "The Mind of the Married Man" which ran for two seasons on HBO. Scott then joined David Milch as Supervising Producer on the critically acclaimed drama, "Deadwood". In its first two seasons, "Deadwood" captivated critics and audiences alike earning twenty two Emmy nominations, seven Emmy wins, a Peabody award, two Golden Globe nominations and numerous Guild awards for excellence. Scott also produced the Pilot episode for the hit series, "Big Love" which was recently recognized with a Golden Globe nomination for Best Drama Series. Currently, Scott is serving as Co-Executive Producer on David Milch's new series, "John From Cincinnati". Prior to television, Scott produced a string of independent features including the award-winning comedy, "The Sex Monster" by writer/director Mike Binder that garnered the top prize at the US Comedy Arts Festival for Best Feature Film. Scott is an avid sailor and is counting the days until he can circumnavigate the world with his family. He currently resides in the Los Angeles area with his wife, Jill and their three children, Julian, Sidney & Price.
