Kathy Lekan grew up in Park Ridge, Illinois and graduated from Purdue University with a BA in Communications in 1991. She worked in advertising in Chicago before moving to Los Angeles in 1993.
Kathy was a Music Manager at Warner Bros. Television before starting her producing career as Post Production Supervisor on Third Watch, The West Wing and her first David Milch project, Big Apple. As Co-Producer Kathy worked on The Education of Max Bickford and Crime & Punishment before reuniting with David Milch as Associate Producer on all 3 Seasons of HBO's Deadwood.
She is currently the Co-Producer of Post Production on John From Cincinnati.
