Hilton Smith joined the HBO team five years ago during the filming of the Deadwood Pilot. He then went on to consult for the series "Carnivale" before returning to "Deadwood" to Co-Produce the series.
Prior to HBO, he spent three years as Co-Producer of "Family Law" for CBS and produced the award winning independent feature "Jacks or Better." He was Production Supervisor on Disney's "Johnny Tsunami." He also spent ten years in various production, finance, and information systems positions in the film and television industry.
Hilton holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from Wake Forest University and a Master of Fine Arts in Theater and Film from UCLA.
Hilton lives in Pacific Palisades with his wife, Cindy.
