Daniel Minahan is the writer and director of the critically acclaimed feature, Series 7: The Contenders, released by USA Films. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and played at numerous international film festivals including Berlin, Deauville and Sweden Fantastic. It was nominated for the Independent Feature Project's Open Palm Award for Outstanding Directorial Debut.
Minahan is an alumni of the prestigious Sundance Writer's Lab and Sundance Director's Lab. Minahan also co-wrote the Valerie Solanas bio-bic, I Shot Andy Warhol with director Mary Harron.
He has directed numerous television episodes including HBO's Big Love, Deadwood, and Six Feet Under, Showtime's The L-Word, ABC's Grey's Anatomy and Commander-In-Chief and NBC's The Black Donnellys.
Minahan is currently developing a thriller set in suburban Connecticut to be shot in the autumn of 2007.
