Alexs father pays a visit to Paul looking for some answers after Alex is killed during a flight training exercise. He asks for a description of his son not a diagnosis and Paul says he thought Alex was struggling to find answers. Alexs father reveals theres a rumor going around that his son committed suicide; theres an ejection seat and Alex didnt jump. Paul asks if he thinks Alexs therapy played a role in his death and the father accuses Paul of making Alex look inside. When the father breaks down over his guilt for pushing his son so hard Paul tries to assuage his grief and guilt, insisting Alexs death was not his fault.
