Sophie's "gusto" for a pizza shes eating evaporates after Paul comments on it. She tells him about a girlfriend of her fathers who accused her of being anorexic, and Paul presses her on how she feels about being thin. Sophie admits she likes the feeling of being able to disappear. Paul continues to delve into her feelings about her father, and she throws a tantrum, believing Paul is implying she was sexually abused. Paul insists thats not what he was driving at, but tells her he believes she has repressed anger for her father and assures her she is safe to let that out with him.
