In order to get a new prescription for sleeping pills, an exhausted Paul visits a young, serious and intelligent therapist named Adele, and is compelled to confront deep-rooted fears about his health, his divorce, his patients, and his all-encompassing relationship with former therapist Gina Toll.

Bio

Amy Ryan (Wendy) can be seen in the upcoming films "Breathe In," "Escape Plan," "Devil's Knot" and "Birdman." For her performance in 2007's "Gone Baby Gone," she was recognized with Academy Award®, Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress. Her other film credits include "Win Win," "Green Zone," "Jack Goes Boating," "Changeling," "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead," "Capote," "Dan in Real Life," "War of the Worlds," "Keane," "You Can Count On Me" and "The Missing Person."

Ryan's TV work includes "The Office" and the HBO series "In Treatment" and "The Wire." On the stage, she has starred in "Detroit," as Stella in "A Streetcar Named Desire," which earned her a Tony Award nomination, "Uncle Vanya," which also garnered her a Tony Award nomination, "The Distance from Here" and "The Sisters Rosensweig."
