 Jeffrey Sharp (Executive Producer)
A founding partner of Hart Sharp Entertainment, Jeff Sharp served as a development assistant at Ixtlan Co. for director Oliver Stone on "Born on the Fourth of July," "The Doors" and "JFK," as well as the Stone and Janet Yang produced film "Zebrahead." He was a development executive for director Joel Schumacher prior to attending the Graduate Film School at Columbia University. He was a founding member of the Hamptons International Film Festival where he served as Director. Along with John Hart, Jeff Sharp produced "Boys Don't Cry," which was distributed by Fox Searchlight and won an Academy Award® for Best Actress (Hilary Swank). Jeff Sharp next produced "You Can Count on Me," written and directed by Kenneth Lonergan. "You Can Count on Me" won the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance 2000 and received two Academy Award® Nominations. Sharp also produced the urban drama "Lift," which screened at Sundance 2001 and premiered on Showtime in June 2002. Most recently, he produced Doug McGrath's "Nicholas Nickleby," which was released theatrically by United Artists. Jeff holds a BA from Colgate University and an MFA from Columbia University.
