Toni Collette was nominated for an Academy Award® for Best
Supporting Actress for "The Sixth Sense." She has won four Australian Film Institute
awards, for "Japanese Story," "The Boys," "Lillian's Story" and "Muriel's Wedding," and
received a fifth nomination for "Spotswood." Collette also received a Golden Globe
nomination for "Muriel's Wedding," a BAFTA nomination for "About a Boy" and a SAG
ensemble cast nomination for "The Hours."
Her other film work includes "In Her Shoes,"
"The Last Shot," "Connie and Carla," "Dirty Deeds," "Changing Lanes," "Shaft," "8 1/2
Women," "Velvet Goldmine" and "Emma," as well as the upcoming "The Night Listener,"
"Little Miss Sunshine," "Like Minds" and "The Dead Girl." Collette also starred in HBO's
"Dinner with Friends."
