Chiwetel was seen in the recent "Kinky Boots," which earned
him a Best Actor nomination from the British Independent Film Awards, as well as the
Spike Lee film "Inside Man." His other film work includes "Four Brothers," "Slow Burn,"
"Melinda & Melinda," "Serenity," "Red Dust," "She Hate Me," "Love Actually," "Dirty Pretty
Things," for which he received various British film award nominations, "Amistad" and
HBO's "Deadly Voyage." Currently shooting "Talk to Me" with Don Cheadle, Ejiofor can
next be seen in the films "Children of Men" and "Tonight at Noon." His numerous
theatrical performances include the Royal National Theatre productions of "Romeo and
Juliet," "Blue/Orange" and "Sparkle Shark." This year Ejiofor also received a nomination
for the 2006 BAFTA Orange Rising Star award, which recognizes exceptional talent and
outstanding performances in young actors.
